The expiry date is also known as Shelf life (the length of time that is stored without problem for use). The expiry date is considered for all food items and medicines. The food items use after expiry date may cause health problems due to bacterial infection. The medicines use after expiry date therapeutic effect may loss. Some times may cause the adverse effects. So the expiry date is an important point during usage of medicines as well as food items. This investigation is done by US FDA (United States Food And Drug Administration). The expiry date is applicable for not only food and drugs but also beverages and chemicals.
