Disintegration: The disintegration is the process of disaggregation of oral dosage forms. The solid dosage forms are converted into small particle when contact to disintegration solution.

Dissolution: The dissolution is the process of form solid particle into solution when contact with dissolution fluid. The dissolution process is subsequent step of Disintegration.

Disintegration and dissolution are steps of solid dosage forms into solution form.
