The assembler is a type of program it receives the basic computer instructions and converted into form of bits also known as machine language. The language we are giving is to computer not recognise, the computer recognize the information as code system for that purpose the assembler convert the normal language into coded language. The results computer giving in the form of codes system but we are unable to understand the coded system then the assembler converts the coded system into the normal language.
The assembler works as a bridge between the computer processing memory and human machine interface.
The assemblers are classified into two types based on the number of times it takes the source for read before translation. Single-pass second one is Multi-pass
The assembler mainly helpful for the translation of coded language into comfortable language.
