Florence Nightingale known as ‘Lady with the lamp’. She was born on 12th may 1820 in Florence. She was founder of modern nursing. During Crimean war she serving as a manager of nurses. She was making rounds of soldiers at night time. She was established nursing school at St. Thomas Hospital in London. She established nursing school was world’s first nursing school. Nightingale birthday was celebrated as International Nursing day. She was dead on 13th August 1910 at 10 south street, Mayfair, London.
