Who was the first man to reach  the mount everest peak?

Edmund Hillary & Tensing Norgay are the two people who reached the top of the Mount Everest on 29th May 1953. Both of them were two of the six people who summited Mount Everest in 1950

Both climbed as part of the British Mount Everest expedition in 1953

It was a ninth expedition to reach the  Everest peak first time. The expedition was led by Colonel John Hunt.

the expedition was financed by Joint Himalayan committee.
